They Met One Day on Summer’s Eve

They met one day on summer’s eve
In a little French cafe
To her his heart he sought to give
He asked her, and she said, “you may”

Sand filled up in between their toes
The sea splashed loudly on the shore
Out comes a ring and a red rose
He asks her, “Please let me be more”

The willow swayed
the tulips bloom
A promise made
A bride and groom

And in a grove,
They kiss and love.
