Putting words to paper is something that Benjamin Ho has been doing for fun (and school) since he was a teenager. As an undergraduate in the University Scholars Programme (USP) at the National University of Singapore, he realised that the USP faculty lacked a magazine platform for students to express themselves in writing. In his sophomore year, he founded the publication for USP he envisioned, which he dubbed The Cinnamon Roll. Although he had no previous editorial or social media experience, The Cinnamon Roll’s pageviews grew under his leadership and continues after his graduation as the official publication of USP.
He currently works as a research assistant at NUS, and continues to write on the side. He is also a guest writer for the food blog GourmetEstorie.
